Digital Literacy: Share Resource

I'm a fan of Prezi and Canva as sources for presentations that help take kids beyond the basic framework of a Google Slides-style presentation.  I've also encouraged students to use Anchor for creating podcasts for projects and I really like getting students to use Flipgrid for short, to-the-point video creation that gives students a way to show their learning in a different way.  Lastly, I've encouraged students to use Garageband to create songs for creative challenges that we do during debates in class and had some positive results.

I love using Canva in the classroom with my students! It is such a great introductory tool to digital creation. I have found students enjoy exploring the ready-made templates that look professionally designed. I always encourage my students to adjust the templates in some way to make the designs their own. What is even better is that Canva allows educators & students to have access to the premium features when signing up with an education email. I so appreciate that feature that would otherwise cost money! Great tool for educators and students alike. :)
