Digital Literacy: Share Resource

Christine Skog
I've used Padlet and GarageBand with my music students.

With Padlet, they are able to view several different performances of the same song and share their thoughts. It's nice to see how different the responses are from student to student and from performance to performance.

With GarageBand, students can work individually to create their own loops. They are able to listen and piece together a song depending on what they like. To add dimension to this, I plan to put the students into pairs this year. In doing so, they will have to work together to create a song that fits the standard form, but also is enjoyable to listen to for both students. In the end, all groups will share their creation with the rest of the class.
