Digital Literacy: Share resources

Laura Byers
Communication: I picked (Little bird tales). It looks like a fun way for students to read stories and share them with the world. This would be easy to integrate into a reading program and would motivate little ones to work on the reading skills.

Collaboration: (Google drive) is a good way to share with co workers. We can use it to share important documents with others and work together on a project. It's a quick and easy way to get something out to a large group of people.

Creativity: (Sock Puppet) is  a fun way for students to work on reading, social skills scenarios and to just have fun. I would use it with readers theater and maybe with our school program The Leader in Me. Kids could have fun coming up with fun scenarios and how to respond to them, such as bullying. Kids would enjoy sharing these with other students.

Critical thinking: (Kodable) is a great App for students to work on problem solving. You could use it during math time do work on direction, left and right, up and down.  It shows them how to get from one point to another but they have to follow a path. Works on very important directional problem solving for younger kids.

Organization:(Pinterest) I use Pinterest all the time for personal use and for my school use. I organize my interests, likes and also things that I use with my students on a daily basis. You can find awesome ideas and things to use with your students. I find resources to use with lessons to make learning more enjoyable for my students.
