Digital Literacy

Anne Landaverde
I use a collaborative Pinterest board with my classes to bookmark different websites for Spanish class.  I found the websites for making animated videos and cartoon strips very interesting. I'd like to figure out how to use those sites with my classes.

Anne,

I think making animated videos in cartoon strips would be a great way for students in the Spanish class to practice vocabulary or conversations.  One tool that I seen use quite a bit, with much creativity and engagement, is PowToon - http://www.powtoon.com.
It's fun easy to use and I think it can be easily applied to your curriculum.  Make a few yourself and have some fun.

I think this is a great idea.  I am beginning to make a Pinterest board for Digital Citizenship.  I have been looking for age appropriate short videos to share with my Kindergarten students.  Common Sense media has some great ones.
