Digital Literacy

I really like Google Drive because it lets me create documents and spreadsheets that I can share with others and they can edit as needed.

I plan to explore Animoto to see how it's features can work for my children and students.

My students really like the ease of using Evernote. It has been a fantastic organizational tool when we do a unit on Goal Setting (career ideas).

My own child uses Google Drive and Google Classroom almost everyday.  Her teachers make sure that important information that might be necessary for homework completion is available on these sites.  For example, all spelling lists can be found in Google classroom and the list of book report options are there as well.  My daughter can no longer say she forgot her spelling list at school.  I can simply say "Go look it up!"  This is an awesome tool that I will incorporate into my own teaching.
