I would use the information presented in the 21cif.com website concerning website evalaution. I would demonstrate how to use the IMSA Evaluation Wizard to middle school/high school students and have them practice using it. I would also use some form of the website evaluation checklist. The list is quite comprehenive in presenting categories that should be used to evaluate a website and a rubic for evaluating each category. As a Substitue teacher I have been assigned to assist with research papers and have reminded students to use reliable resources but didn't have a systematic method of helping them do thsi evaluation. Now I have a tool to more effectively help students with these assignments. I would certainly recommend to taechers to take a look at the wbsite and use it as an asset when doing research.
