Google Classroom

Emily Otte
I teach band and choir.  When I am absent for school, subs are hesitant to take on my class.  Google Classroom has really helped in this area.  Since we are a one to one device school, I am able to post directly to the students.  The sub does not have to worry about anything except for maintaining class discipline.

Google Classroom is such a great tool! We use it exclusively at the middle school and it's be very helpful to us with students that have to be out due to COVID and when we have to have subs.

I totally agree. Our middle school has used Google Classroom now for awhile. It is a great resource to be able to have documents, resources, and assignments in one spot for the teacher and makes any absences by teacher or students, less intrusive to the overall student learning and flow of the classroom. I also like being able to give feedback, even when I can't do that face to face.

As a sub, I really appreciate Google classroom. In areas I am not certified in, a day with a sub can be so much more productive!
