Heidi Scholz - share resoures

Communication: Storybird.com - I would use this for my students to create a book for my 5th grade's Kindergarten buddies.  It would be about the Kindergarten student and about things to do during that season.  They will read it to them.

Collaboration:  Prezi.com - I would have students work in groups to make a presentation creating what they think would be a perfect city.  We would complete this after reading the book The Giver, as a book project.

Creativity:  Clayanimator - I would have students create a character and then write a fictional story about this character.

Critical Thinking: Tynker-Coding - I would have students experiment with coding and eventually try to build a game.

Organization: Teacher Tube - I will use this through out the year to find extra resources to help teach my class about different times of our liturgical year.  

I love that all of your ideas really implement creativity as well! Our fifth graders have reading buddies as well and I adore the idea of creating a story and sharing it with them. What a great way to build a bond while also building Literacy and art skills. How neat would it be to watch the collaboration between the two grades if they did this together! I want to bring this idea up with our fifth grade teachers!
