I wasn't sure how many sites we were to share, so I will mention several. I am going to take a course on google later this summer as our school is wanting all teachers and students to use it as a communication, collaboration and organizational tool. I need to learn more about it as I have had to have extensive help to keep up with our school's current usage. I also really like the Prezi tool for student presentations. It is more interactive than a simple power point. I like the organization of the Symbaloo site and see it as a great tool for myself and my students to keep resources that we favor. The Netsmartz is an amazing site to help student and parents learn about safety and digital footprint. I personally learned a lot but do not teach a course where this would be appropriate, but I will forward it on to a couple of other teachers that might see a way to incorporate this into their curriculum. I know I will use the Cornell.edu website about how to go about researching a topic. I teach social studies classes and have my students do various long term and short term research projects. Students need a refresher course on "how" to research their topics efficieintly
