Internet Tools

Beth Duffy
I explored Twitter, diigo, easelly, pollseverywhere, and others, plus Picasa, where I was told it has changed to Google Photos. Although I'm not currently active on Twitter, I can see where it would be useful in two respects, as a communication tool and a research tool for not just locating information on certain subjects, but to follow what specific people (politicians and government officials) are saying. I'm a keen follower of polls, so pollseverywhere might be useful someday were I wanting to poll a large audience or even a small classroom, anytime participants are concerned about comments being anonymous. In the past I've also appreciated photo websites as sources of information, particularly animals. I'm not big on posting personal photos. Never do it. But occasionally for art projects it's nice to have a legitimate reference to review.
