Prezi

Megan
I have limited experience with Prezi, but my students used it to make presentations in science class this year.  I would lie to explore Prezi so that I can use it in my classroom and also be better able to assist students when they are working on projects for other teachers.  I like how everything links together on Prezi and provides a professional appearance; however, I think it can be confusing to use (especially for a beginner).

I am in a similar situation because I teach at the college level and my students have used Prezi for their Health lessons.  I'm fascinated by them but have never used Prezi myself.  Now that I will be teaching elementary PE, I'm wondering if I could use it in such a way that the large scale visual would be a human body but then it focuses  in on a certain body part or area(s) that would be relevant to the activities/skills being learned that day?  When it zooms in on that body part or area there would be additional information or facts.  This would be shown quickly and kept up on the wall during the activity.  Just hoping it will be user friendly for me to learn how to use this coming school year.

I had a similar experience. Many of our students and staff, including me are "comfortable" w/ PowerPoint. I was made aware of Prezi by a first-time teacher in our school district -- I would like to explore the similarities and differences.

I have taught PE at the middle school level.  I think it would be a fantastic way to get the kids to buy in to your curriculum.  Good luck!

I also have limited experience with Prezi but I want to learn more about how to use it. When I checked it out, it looked like it would be an excellent resource for both instructors and students in presenting ideas to others.
