Resources for my classroom-Amber Evans

I am currently using Blooket (Blue kit) in my classroom to practice math facts.  It is very similar to Kahoot .  The main differences are that Kahoot is high-pressure and emphasizes speed and accuracy. Players answer the same question at the same time. Kahoot has also changed the way teachers can access content.  If you are not a member of Kahoot, you don't have as many content choices  and the content you can access may not be from a legitimate source.

Blooket has different game modes so kids don't get bored and they are more engaged throughout.  It has been a great way for my kids to work on/learn math facts!

I am also using Khan Academy for math as a way for kids to get extra practice or to catch up on something they have missed. Kids get practice and immediate feedback which is very valuable to them and to me as a teacher! I can monitor their practice as they go and can re-assign lessons, or move them forward as needed.  I also don't have to keep all the kids on the same lessons. I can assign work based on what each student needs.

I have also used eSpark and Splash learn for reinforcing 4th grade math.
