I really liked the site coggle. I like thinking maps, I think it helps the students see a lot of information and how it connects quickly and easily. So I think this is a great site to be able to create your own, but then you can share it, so if you are working in groups, everyone can add their ideas, so it is not just what one person is thinking, but you get whole class to brainstorm together. You could use this if student were working on a project, and each could be adding to it, even if they were working on it from home, and the others would be able to see and access the information quickly.

After reading your post, I looked into Coggle as a resource.  I think I would enjoy using this for the students to see their train of thought while brainstorming to write their own stories and to collaborate with others when doing projects in science. I like how it is simple to use - sometimes all the extra fancy features create rabbit holes for kids to spend too much time making it pretty or cool.
