A few of the resources that I really liked and thought I could utilize in an elementary setting were ToonDoo and bubbl.us. ToonDoo would be a very fun way to assess the kids with them thinking it was just a "fun" activity. You could use this to assess in any content area. I also like the bubbl.us website. This would be a great way to get prior knowledge from the students.
