I have had students share their stories with me using storybird. My students do not like to write, but when they are allowed to put pictures with it they get really excited about writing and even sharing what they wrote. I have used Kahoot it and Powtoons in professional development meetings. They were fun to use and I would like to see how my students would use them.

I would like to have my students try Story Bird.  The reason I gave is just like what you said.  I feel that when students are giving the opportunity to select the neat pictures to place in their stories, they are more motivated to write.  I think their stories may even become longer in length with this as well!
