I am currently doing a long term sub in 7th grade language arts and reading and have been introduced to many new resources. First of of all, every student has a laptop and pretty much everything is done using Google Drive & Google Classroom.
I have also had students use Prezi Presentations, Tagxedo (word clouds in the poetry unit are cool), bubbl.us to brainstorm writing ideas, and iReady for Math and Reading. I, myself, have discovered Delicious Bookmarking because my own favorites list and laptop bookmark was getting very messy.
