Dropbox is a very effective tool to help students organize their documents/assignments/photos. I have used it before to help share writing resources with students, and it can also be used as an assignment-submission tool as well. Students can drop off copies of their work into a shared folder and I will be able to see, edit, and re-share the edited document back to them.
I also use Dropbox with my home computer to sync documents between it and my work machine. This saves me the hassle of having to print off documents and remembering to bring them to school the next day, as Dropbox syncs between the two computers whenever you boot them up. It's been a lifesaver on more than one occasion!
