I am a sub, so normally I do not have to have resources for the students. I have used the teachers Google drives to share information with students. It seems to work really well and the kids know how to use it.
As another sub, I agree with you that we generally do not prepare resources for the students, but it is always wonderful to come into the classroom where teachers are organized and have sub plan ready with all the necessary items. You are also right that Google Drive is easily accessible, and students are very familiar with it. Navigating it is easy and there are always resources available in it.
