My fifth graders don't always enjoy writing, I find that engagement is sometimes lacking during our writing block. I really like the idea of using kidblog.org to engage students and motivate them during writing. Since I have a personal blog, I could really show students the benefits of blogging for fun. We could incorporate our school day into our class blog to share with the rest of th school and parents. It is affordable at $36 a year and could really help struggling writers.
