Shared Resource

I looked at easel.ly  which is a website that helped you easily create Graphic Art.  This would be great in my upper elementary art class if I had students design a book cover, business card, etc.  It has many readily available images and it is free, unless you want more elaborate design ideas.  This would be a great way to get kids started with designing on the computer.

I teach a foreign language at a high school. I use project based learning often, especially for learning culture. Students have tendency to "borrow" image from Internet, instead of expanding and exploring own originality. I support your idea that students can use a tool, Easel.ly, to develop student's creativity into their final products.
