I am an Activities Director and Twitter is a tremendous communication tool with our high school students when it comes to announcements or important activity information that I need to get out to the masses. I am encouraging our coaches to join twitter and follow me to be up to speed with the most current announcements. Examples are when we have to reschedule events due to weather or what bus time departures are for away events. This saves from sending out group text messages and also group emails. Quick and efficient way to get out important information to students, coaches and parents.
