I actually found this activity to check out different apps useful. I think it is important to keep up to date on what is available to students. How can we enrich the classroom.
Communication: Prezi presentations is a creative way for students to present information they have learned or used by educators to make their lessons more interesting. I have used this project before and really like it.
Collaboration: Realtime board-white board (miro.com) is a way students or coworkers can work together on workflow, etc.
Creativity: Create animated videos and presentations (wideo.com) The more a student or adult can put in creativity the more interested both parties are.
Critical Thinking: WCES Kidz Zone: Create a graph, show data or results in a creative way.
Organization: MindMapping: Used in the classroom, meetings, presentations to help organize, prioritize, and generate new thoughts.
I am excited to use some of these that I have not before. I honestly hadn't heard of some of these and they could be a really good tool for myself and students.
