Shared Resources - Brett Eubank

Comminications - Screencastify.  All of our teachers and students have this pre-installed and set to save to their Google drive.  This makes it easy for students to make video presentations and to share it with students and teachers automatically.
Web Resources - Google Drive.  Since we are a Google school, it is easy to set up shared documents that can contain web resources that I want students to use for an entire class or individual sections.
Creativity - Flipgrid.  I have some other teachers that have used this to create different presentations or acts with books that they are reading.  It can act like an academic Tik Toc for some students.
Organization - Diigo.  This is another app that is installed for all of the students and staff.  It makes it easy to set up shared resources for a class or for the staff to help with training or post interesting things that are happening in class.
Critical Thinking - Kahoot!  Most of the students that I have like playing games using Kahoot.  It is a great way to review content and to have students write test questions.  It allows students to determine what content is important.

I like the idea of using Kahoot as a way for students to write test questions! I have used it as a fun alternative to paper/pencil quizzes, but having them create their own questions would be a great way for them to show what they have learned.

I really like the versatility of Google Drive in being able to be used as storage for a whole host of applications. That is fantastic that you use it with Screencastify. We have utilize ours with Schoology and PowerSchool for students to submit video presentations as well. It is a great tool.

I will have to look at Screencastify specifically. We have used a number of different pieces of software for students to record and I like to have options. Thanks for sharing.

We use Kahoot and the kids really enjoy it. I have never thought about using it for students to write test questions, but I like this idea a lot!

I have used Kahoot in the classroom and agree that it works well as a fun way to review new vocabulary and other things they are learning.
I hadn't seen the social bookmark Diigo app before. This looks like a fantastic resource for being able to share and resource the work that other staff members have bookmarked.
