There are many resources available for students and teachers to access. Teachers in our district use many of the ones shared with us for this assignment. The resources I have had experience with are Prezi, Padlet, Skype, animated videos, create a graph, and Teacher Tube. Probably my favorite is create a graph. We have used this resource several times, especially in the science classes. It is an easy to use site. It is very compatible with google docs. Our students utilize Google Classroom, therefore everything they submit almost everything online. I have found this site particularly useful for the Biology students, when they type up their lab reports. They create the graphs using their data and they can either print them out, or insert them into the report. Our 21st Century students just started working with Prezi this year. It is also very user friendly and can be used in a variety of classes for a variety of projects and presentations. Padlet is a good way to organize what objectives you have for a lesson or a presentation. Skype can be used to invite a guest speaker for the class, or for a 504 student that may be at home for medical reasons to join the class or give a presentation. Animated videos are fun for students to use also. I would like to incorporate this resource for my EL students to make a cartoon/video using the words they learn in English and maybe even compare English and Spanish. All of the resources make learning fun.
