Teachertube

From my reading, this site is easy to learn ("Learn in five minutes or less"), is educationally focused, and a safe venue for "teachers, schools, and home learners," which dovetails with our concerns regarding digital security and safety. One of the most important applications of Teachertube for my classroom would be access to free on-line educational videos, which can be emailed, embedded in blogs, or linked to other websites. My school uses the learning management system Schoology for posting assignments, quizzes, and information sharing, and it would be very easy for me to upload videos for my students to view outside of class using Teachertube. Although the videos play on a 3 X4-inch screen on my computer, I can show them on my mimio to the whole class if I choose.AHXG2
