My students will be using Google Classroom applications which includes Doc, Slides, and Hangouts, but I thought the Voki Audio Avitar offered something special. Students can design their own avatar and use it to record presentations, poems, and oral readings. The avatar offers them a opportunity to use their alter egos, giving them a certain freedom to perform without embarrassment. I think they will feel inspired by Voki.
I think that sounds like an awesome idea! It allows folks who are a little shy, and not keen on sharing in front of the whole class, to get their feet wet in oral presentations. It would be a good way to build up to speaking in front of a group of people.
