I am very glad to have found this curriculum through my district. It is built grade to grade and might seem lukewarm, but the response of the students is amazing. It piques their imagination and allows them to forget their inhibitions and be bold by allowing what the Denver teacher did by getting her students to talk about themselves and their experiences.
It allows them to use the teaching of be courageous and bold. Be proud of what you do and the students are eager to tell their stories. When they do, their classmates listen and then want to tell their story.
