cyberbullying

hchristensen@cbcsd.org
I am looking for some posts on connecting cyberbullying to a classroom.  What better resource than a posting site such as Nabbie

We connect all bullying to all of our classrooms with talking in class and luring students to be bold and share any experiences or situations where they were targets or observers of in person or cyber bullying.  It is surprising how willing each is and how many have experienced various forms of being targets and also of standing up to bullies to get the bullying to stop.

I was surprised at the statistics shown at the beginning of the class, but now after personal experience in class, listening to students, I will affirm they seem much more credible.  I guess I am realizing just how untrustworthy and willing to steal and disrupt, humans really are.   I have recently come face to face with this fact with one of my children and the idyllic rural small town I grew up in, cultural hang ups.  Zero Sum is a real thing.  Many in a real culture either ignore the cutthroat tendencies or seem to fit it in with our national culture in modern day.  Perhaps it was eternal and I am just waking up.
