sharing resource: Voki

Voki looks like an interesting way to integrate technology into the classroom.  Students can use an avatar to present their reports.  What a fun way to complete an assignment!

I like the idea of an avatar giving the presentation. A great way for shy students to still show they know the content.

Having students take a topic and present it to the class ( instead of the teacher doing it all the time) not only encourages different styles of presentation but also is presented in style that is closer to the way students their age think and relate to each other. Having an avatar present their report will engage them when preparing the material too.  

I like the idea of an avatar as well.  Having an avatar empowers students who wouldn't normally want to participate in group activities.
