teaching citizenship with engagement and buy in to young rascals

I am on pages 25 through 30 which seems to rely on bookmarking through fancy names such Delicious to get open source bookmarks that can be used to good advantage.  Open source is great for researching and collaboration.  Many good things have and will be "discovered" with that wonderful advancement.

This is a new fork in that surging river to push the easy button and use the faves of the community, global community, to quickly find a filler lesson for a sub or for your own class.

It is a Doctor.  The doctors for this course used Philmont ranch as the lead in to this course.  I was a Scout, Scout leader and have been in Texas as have my scouts.  The example hit home.  I guess it can be used as an example of being "YOU" and of using a "fave" at the same time.  That might be another fork.

The bookmarking and following as the lead in says, The waves and waves of new generations will follow us pioneers.

The real fun for me is not being locked into a keyword using controlled vocabulary.  I love to have such a resource available for the day I am posted in an unexpected situation, but for regular activity I want to make sure as my doctor, Suess, diagnosis are correct in that: There is No one alive that is youer than You or in this case  ME.

I love to use natural language and receive the five millions of responses.  If you can be you, there are real diamonds among the mountains of Coal

With that in mind, I chose to use the Storybird.   I just stumbled on Storybird while searching through the coal chunks listed on the grid shown.

Yes, I stumbled!

Possibly this post is a stumble.

LittleBird absolutely refused my prompt to LOAD!

To me, the talking to the targets of cyberbullying or predators is a key.  I am looking for buy in to the very important conversations about targeting and how to respond to keep safe and sane.

You may have guessed, I love stories.  Storybird has the sync and over site abilities of other game and special interest sites where maps and many other things can be created.

Games and even evaluation tools such as Kahoot are an easy button.  Great to play just as classroom Jeopardy.  Exciting but the focus is on cultural objectives, the main one being winning.  Many chapped hides come from team selection.

When you can tell your story in the privacy of the internet Storybird, you have buy in which releases empathy and honesty.  A real heart to heart with your trusted adult.

Please show me how it gets any better
