I think Animoto is a great way to create a video slideshow about yourself.  I see this as a beneficial tool that can be used both in and out of the classroom.  Students could create a slideshow about themselves, their life, values, goals, etc. to music.  It makes it a fun way for kids to create presentations/reports.
