Delicious and Prezi

M. Andersen
I am interested in using Delicious for social bookmarking with my students.  Since it is public, all students will have access to the bookmarks I create and they also can share interesting sites that they find.  I would like to try Prezi simply because some classes at our local college require Prezi presentations and it would be good for students to be familiar with it.  Right now, most use PowerPoint as that is the program used by most teachers in our district.

I am also interested in learning more about Delicious or Diigo for social bookmarking with both students and colleagues.  I love the idea of being able to share bookmarks/sites in one spot that's easy for everyone to access.

I am going to explore using Delicious and Prezi in the classroom.  Social bookmarking is a new concept to me, and I now see the benefit of being able to have access to a teacher's bookmarks for research and content purposes.  Powerpoint seems like it may be obsolete.  An application like Prezi could be the way of the future for both college and corporate worlds.
