Flipgrid

Kristi
The teachers at my school enjoy using Flipgrid.  It allows the students to respond in a different way that is fun and engaging.  The teachers reply with a video and then ask students to reply again.  During this age when elearning is important, that is a way to be face to face with students and listening to them explain their thinking.

Our school started using Flipgrid this year and it really hits home with our students.  Just like you mentioned the face to face, I think is what pulls them in.

I like the idea of this.  I'll have to check it out.  I work with some students who use ASL as their primary language and struggle with English.  Being able to see the teacher and have access to that visual language is a big deal.  Especially if they can send videos back in ASL as well.  Very cool.

I just started using flipgrid with my students during the quarantine. They are loving it as we can still see each other and they enjoy the the creativity it provides.
