Learning tools: Organization

Brenda Roberts
Going one to one with computers and technology has been a great asset to our school. However, with the addition of Chrome Books we have lost our paper "book" planners, which has in turn taken away the ability for students to organize and remember. Teaching students how to effectively use Google Drive and Classroom have been advantageous to their planning and organizing.

So your saying with Chrome books it became harder for kids to organize, because they had no paper and pencil. Then by teaching them to use Google Drive they were able to get organized again.

I agree that with more devices available for students, there can be positive and negative impacts.  Using google drive and classroom is a way for teachers to monitor the content and interactions students are exploring.
