Pinterest is a great way for teachers to organize ideas for teachers. I never really thought about it as a way to organize certain websites that I frequently visit and use, but it is a great idea. I think it would help me to quickly search and find certain materials that I would need throughout the school year.

I really never thought about using Pinterest as an Educational tool either.  I will use Pinterest to look for organizational ideas I can use with my students.

I listened to our art teacher introducing Pinterest to her students as a way to find and organize ideas. She showed the students how she use to collect magazine articles, ads, sketches, photos, and other materials that she thought she would be able to use in the future when starting an art project. She showed them her notebook that she had since college. She then showed them how Pinterest could do the same thing as well as being a source for inspiration.

I'm excited that Pinterest will allow you to keep a board private, sharing with only certain users. This makes it a safer collaborative tool for students doing projects. A team of students can share both research and visual possibilities for their projects.
