Share Resources

Other resources that I use are Ever-Fi. Financial Literacy for students. This is a great program that covers everything from banking and checking to credit and credit cards, interest, financial aid for college, insurance and more. I use it as part of my Careers II class.

Another item I use sparingly is Twitter. I have used it to tweet out things such as mock interviews that my students participate in.

I will pass this suggestion along to our personal finance instructor.  She is always looking for good resources for her class required for all junior students.

We use the Ever-Fi Financial Literacy mods in our Econ classes, but I have not tried their information literacy units. Going to have to take a look at that.

Ever-fi would be a great resource to use with my 8th grade enrichment class.  Going over financial aid for college will get their feet wet for the real thing that's a few years down the road. Plus it will help them to look for money in the form of scholarship now.  Every kid should have a class on finance to help them for the future.

Yes, we have had good experiences with everfi also with our alternative ed. students. They report feeling much more prepared for the "real world" as a result of their experience. It is worth your time.
