Sharing Resources

Snopes.com is a resource I would have liked to had in my resources while I was teaching. You are able to check facts presented on the internet. It showed how to determine if information was false. I believe it would be a way to keep people honest.  It would be an excellent resource for parents, teachers, students, and anyone who was going to do any sharing. It's a great fact checker.  When I substituted, I also used Google Drive. Teachers would put the student's assignments in Google Classroom for the students to retrieve and complete. It is an excellent resource.

Re: Sharing Resources

I have never heard of Snopes before. It sounds like a wonderful way for students to fact check the information that they gather when doing research online. It is so hared to determine what is true and what is false anymore, that this would be a great resource.
